AO- UBEZBEKISTAN
(Information is from a 2013 entry into the AGENCY World Factbook.) UBEZBEKISTAN (OOBZ-BEK-EE-STAN) is a Afghan province that resisted Taliban influence for a long period of the GWOT, and is named for its patron saint, Pasha Ubez, the youngest Tribal Elder that the Mountain tribe had ever seen. Collectively it’s people or related things are referred to as UBEZBEKISTANI (OOBZ-BEK-EE-STAH-NEE).
Ubezbekistan’s government was a tribal democracy, before being overthrown by Genral Ozymandias Kirtap’s “The MILITIA” or “MILFOR” in 2010. After that, it went through a series of Tribal conflicts and life under Kirtap’s rule before falling to the Taliban in 2013.
